It’s Thanksgiving today and though we’re not celebrating this here in Germany it’s a nice opportunity to make a lil’ list of things that I’m thankful for (in no particular order):

Today I found out about this great site shuttercal.com.

As a ShutterCal member, you are basically uploading one picture per day. This picture usually shows something that you did during that particular day, someone you saw, something that happened to you, etc. Though, you are not limited to showcasing your day. Some other ideas include posting a drawing each day, one person you talk to each day, or any number of creative ideas that you’d like to document on a day to day basis. In time, your daily photos really start to turn into something wonderful.

You have your personal calendar on the site in which you upload your picture. After each month you can order prints of the whole month for 14.99$ (+ shipping). So after a year you have a great picture diary of your past year. Is this great?!?!? YES! I wonder if I’m disciplined enough to carry my camera with me every day to take a particular image BUT I will try. So excited!!

It’s so nice to grow your own herbs at home. Here are some nice pots to use:

*a little herb stand for two different plants. the water goes in the pot at the bottom and after some time you can reap with the little scissors. * marsupial pot and *porcelain garden stakes - i think they fit perfectly together * actually a nice parasol stand with double usage. it holds your parasol while you plant some nice flowers in it. * trio herb pot with water hole in the corner for easy hydration.
