The other day I went to a local craft shop that my brother works with very close and bought some (unbelievably expensive) great sheets of colored paper. Actually I was looking for something else but since they didn’t have it that paper was screaming “buy me, buy me! pretty blue! juicy pink! joyful orange! get me! get me!” Yeah. So… I got them all and since I have no use for paper right now *sigh* I wrapped up some mini purses that I’ve made for my girlfriends. Think it’s pretty cool to sew paper and I’ve never been a fan of plastic tape. So looking forward receiving my 10 rolls of pastel washi paper masking tape :-) which could be a nice addition to any gift wrap.
I used simple brown and blue packaging paper. The paper with the hearts is sold in stores right now as Valentine’s day is coming up. I cut random pieces of the colored paper and zig-zag stitched it on the paper. Fold. Zig-Zag stitch all around. Done in 10 minutes (per pack). Do you like it?

Etsy Cakestands
Yesterday I had the urgent wish to buy a cakestand. A very nice one. In my head there was a picture of turquoise and yellow. So…Etsy addicted that I am this week these are the findings that I had and I must say: they’re all ADORABLE. I wanna have them all. See here:
1. Vesselsandwares 98$ 2. Vesselsandwares 120 $ 3. Vesselsandwares 56$ I think that shop makes the greatest cakestands available on Etsy. They come in great colors (they have yellow as well) and they’re so nicely done. Look at the tiny hearts… oooohhhhhhh
4. Whitneysmith 38 $ I.WANT.THAT.ONE!! I fell in love with the little bird. It’s for a cupcake thought but I can’t really resist. A small cupcake cannot be displayed with more style. 5. Artreverie 6$ A cute little pottery cupcake with a hole for a small candle (yeah ok.. it’s not really a cakestand). I’ll get that one just in case the birdie feels alone when I didn’t have time to bake. 6. Trudy 10 22 $ Couldn’t resist to post that trashy little stand with England’s dream couple of the 80′s. Made me chuckle and imagine the person who buys this. I wouldn’t it but it’s so cool anyway.

I feel a sin coming on…
Actually I was looking for something completely different on Etsy whilst doing a shopping list. Etsy = Shopping = Sin (= happiness)
There you go…
1. pinpack button “envy” 2. handprinted letterpress “living’ in sin” 3. fine art photo 4. photo 5. johnny cash t-shirt 6. seven deadly sins
I like them all!

I’m really trying
Since I have this big SLR camera I take pictures like there’s no tomorrow. The difference compared to the tiny, pocket digital cameras is huge so even I – with no clue of how to take good pictures – can make a decent photo of something or someone.
The other day I had these big colorful donuts, a glass with white tulips, a green kitchen table… and bad light. With these ingredients I tried my best and had to do all kinds of photoshopping afterwards to make it look a littlebit nice. If there’s someone out there who can give me some tips and tricks – I’d be grateful.
And my Moleskine Notebook…
I like them all somehow but it could be better, right?!
