man was bin ich heute uninspiriert. kennt ihr das? eine völlige leere im kopf und man will eigentlich nur mit einer decke auf die couch und ein buch lesen? so ein tag ist heute. und da das mit der couch und dem buch leider nicht klappt (jedenfalls nicht zwischen 9 und 18 Uhr) habe ich auf pinterest gesetzt und dort mal geschaut was da so geht und tatsächlich bin ich auf ein paar sachen gestoßen, die immerhin einen schönen gedanken freigesetzt haben:

i am so uninspired today. do you know those days where you just want to sit on the couch and read a good book? yeah. but i’m in the office all day and can’t do all that so i checked out the latest pins on pinterest and found some lovely images that created good thoughts:

könnt ich auch mal wieder backen. bei der regenbogen torte hatte ich auch schon spaß. dazu muss ich mir aber erst mal wieder einen anlass ausdenken. einfach so tu ich mir das nicht an. 679 kcal pro biss…

really want to bake one more rainbow cake because it was so much fun last time. there is just no occasion and i really can’t eat this just for fun.

ich würds nicht tragen, aber schön find ich sie trotzdem. i wouldn’t wear this necklace but it’s so adorable anyway.

wunderschöne vase in tollen farben. wonderful vase in wonderful colors.

schöne alternative zur regenbogen torte. a good alternative to the rainbow cake.

da würde meine nichte super drin aussehen. leider kann ich nur geradeaus stricken. i can see my baby niece in this. unfortunately i can only knit straight.

die heldin meiner kindheit. und ihretwegen hab ich auch letztens die wimperntusche von mac gekauft (kategorie: “gekauft weil das packaging so schön war) wonder woman was my idol as a kid and that’s why i had to get the mac mascara (filed under “i bought this because i loved the packaging)

hach. letzte woche hab ich mir ihr konzert vom diesjährigen itunes festival angeschaut (kann man auf itunes kostenlos machen) und war hin und weg. tolle frau, die adele. some weeks ago i watched her concert at the itunes festival this year and loved it. she’s such a sweetheart. you can watch that on itunes for free if you like.

since i’ve been on a long weekend trip it’s been a week since i’ve visited pinterest and today there were so many things i just loved….

today i ordered a shopper bag that would go perfectly together with this outfit.

i love everything on this image. the color of the sofa, the rough table, the bubble lamps, the antique cupboard, the modern white kitchen. everything is perfect!

did i mentioned i got inked 2 weeks ago? i want more. something like this would be great.

though this oldschool tattoo flash is tempting…

today when i checked my awesome notes (best to-do app ever!) i realized i only have 17 days to go. which is actually fine if i didn’t discover yesterday that i can’t sew after the office due to a big lack of concentration. and besides that i still need to sew soooooo many things i’m still working on my stand decoration and design.

you remember – i have something to cover the table. check!  i have items. check! (isn’t that the most beautiful decoration anyway?!) today a metal display arrived (got it on ebay) and a colleague from the office will borrow me a postcard rack.

so what will i do most likely to get inspired?! check pinterest (of course). and there i’ve pinned all i can find on a board and then realized that most pictures i really loved were from danni of oh, hello friend. gosh she has a certain style to design her stand or booth it’s just incredible. everything is so in-sync and in total harmony. i love swooning over her tables…

just today she wrote about her booth at unique la for which she rented vintage furniture. love. love. love and a big compliment to her. i can’t help it but she will have a big influence on me while i design my little stand though our products are totally different. it’s about setting tables and little boxes and how to present things. thanx danni!

i really like to put things in small boxes or jars. this booth by belinda looks fabulous.

oh and trunks are super as well but i’m not sure whether it would fit to my products. for this show i have nothing made of vintage fabrics to sell and such a suitcase seems so old-school…ok… i admit it. if i’d find a turquoise one i’d buy it right away.

oh and i LOVE this counter here. it’s colorful and you can display all you’ve got in such a great way. pure and simple and that’s just my style. i don’t know if i’m tall enough to be seen behind it but just as an inspiration it’s great :-)

please, if you’ve seen a great craft show stand please share it with me. i’m grateful for every single tip i can get.

wow what a day that is. horrible. but i learned a new expression. “bullshit tolerance”. yeah. and mine is very low today and so i gathered some things that would have made me happy… lots of happier… to change my mood a bit.

isn’t this the most fantastic color in the world?! i can’t stop seeing turquoise everywhere.
