it’s carnival. again…
it’s carnival time. again. and i can’t wait for tomorrow when it’s all over again.
no. it’s not fun. at least not for me. carnival here in germany – especially here in this area – does nothing for me but trying to avoid the parades, the drunk people on the streets and the costume parties with more drunk people and silly music. if it was warmer these days maybe. like in rio (scroll down to see me in the sambadrome)! it’s weird because i actually like costumes and dressing up as another character every once in a while. but not just because it’s carnival.

maybe when i have kids i will go to a parade. mom and kid in the same costumes. that would be nice. as peter pan and tinkerbell. or batman and robin. or micky and minnie mouse. little ones are adorable in costumes. don’t you think?

but until then i will avoid all things carnival and just sleep through the weekend.

oh, yes i totally agree with you…but with a child i couldn´t avoid all these events…so i can say with kids you will have much more fun again…;)…but altough i´m so glad that all will have an end tomorrow…thanks god…wish you a great sleeping time…and sweet dreams…take care and all the best…cheers and hugs…i…

I’ve never actually celebrated Mardi Gras/ Carnival, so I’m not exactly sure I know what I’m missing out on. One of these years, I will go out and let you know how it goes :)
ines. i understand and i know. but i think it’s nice with kids to go to the parades or costume parties. alone i’d never go. do you have big parades in ulm? thought bavaria wasn’t that big with fasching…
