Kreativ Messe Wiesbaden

Last week we had the creative fair in Wiesbaden. From Thursday 30. until Sunday Nov 1st. About 400 stands all about crafts. A paradise of fabric, scrapbooking supply, pearls and beads, candles – they had EVERYTHING you can imagine. The traders were mostly Germans and from Holland.

After 3 hours of strolling and checking this is my treasure

everything

* a wreath out of very thick branches for our entrance. * a welcome sign * a red metal star * a bunch of little wooden toadstools * scented potpourri, fir cones and red wooden shells (for the christmas decoration) * sticker to decorate mugs and plates that won’t come off (pirates and princess themes for the kids) * 2 different sewing patterns for handbags * a set of rub ons * a set of alphabet stamps * 4 ink-pads * packet of star brads (im so not into scrapbooking but these were cute) * 3 cookie cutter * 5 different ribbons * 4 cute japanese fabrics *** YAY***

These are the japanese fabrics. 16 € per meter. Though I have no idea what to do with it I just bought half a meter each.

my fabrics

This is my favorite :-) Little Red Riding Hood. It was available with a baby pink background, too but the 70ies orange is so much fun. fabric

These lovely ribbons fit good to the deery fabric.

This is the stand where I bought the fabric. It was one of the first stands I discovered and she had an amazing range of beautiful fabrics. Tilda, Westfalenstoffe, Amy Butler etc. I took her business card with me and wrote down some prices and continued to check out the other stands. After I realized that all the sellers almost have the same prices I bought my stuff there at the end of my tour. Unfortunately the lady was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. I had the impression every question I had annoyed her and everything she had to cut seemed like a big burden… Her husband was very nice and helpful though he didn’t have much of a clue of what I asked. I could haved bought much more but at the end I was annoyed myself. I will not name the name of the lady here nor mention her online store as I don’t know what kind of day she had and why she was so unfriendly. If you want to know about her store write me an e-mail. The nice fabric can be bought there.

kreativ messe bb

This was a very great shop. Second hand fabrics from back in the days. Most of them were very old but in good condition. They were sold for about 4 Euros per piece. Very special.

I adore some of the stuff you have posted here and would love to buy some myself. I am especially interested in the deery lou ribbons and fabrics. But you said you got this at a craft fair. Any idea of how I could put my hands to some myself? ps you have great taste!
