Quote of the week

Happy Friday my dear readers. I haven’t been very crafty or creative at week but just tried to survive the office and now I’m off to have a relaxing weekend. I’m still eating nothing but veggies and fruit but maybe this weekend I’ll make an exception. It’s Italian week here in Frankfurt and how can I resist some delicious pasta? And I long for a good glass of good white wine in the sun. So looking forward to this.

But before I sing off for the weekend I want to share some things. I haven’t been twittering much this week due to limited time but when I did I read the last 20 twits and made a great find. Freckled Nest Blog is running an online sewing class for beginners starting August 10 for only 60$. I read the list of projects they will do during the course and I think it’s worth every buck. Have a look on their site and see for yourself.

And one more thing that wouldn’t get out of my mind. After I’ve seen this amazing DIY chalkboard project by Sassy Smolak I think I’m in love with chalkboards and trying to think of how to implement one in our home. A self made of course!! The Smolaks did such a great job on their fridge.
