kann man eigentlich genug leere hefte haben? wir haben zuhause ein ganzes regal in dem die ganzen schätze fein säuberlich eingereiht stehen und liegen und sich stapeln und ab und zu – wenn ich dann eine zündende idee habe und sehr motiviert bin – nehme ich eins raus und fange an tolle sachen zu vermerken, die seiten zu illustrieren, schnipsel einzukleben. genau bis zu dem zeitpunkt an dem dieser moment vorbei ist und ich das heft wieder zugeschlagen habe. dann kann es sein, daß das heft ungeliebt herumliegt und ich ein schlechtes gewissen habe. so sah’s bisher aus. JETZT haben sich die zeiten geändert. JETZT kenne ich paperscreen und die welt hat sich verändert.

vor ein paar wochen bekam ich von paperscreen ein buntes paket mit blanko heften und zetteln und blöcken geschickt und ich versprach, dass ich die schätze auf ihre funktionalität testen werde. zu meinen lieblingen habe ich die kleinen iphone5 großen mini-heftchen FIVE auserkoren. zusammen mit den printer scraps in der gleichen größe sind sie gerade jetzt in dieser organisationslastigen zeit die ich gerade verlebe meine rettung schlechthin.

die heftchen sind – wie alle paperscreen produkte – in der größe eines technischen gerätes, das fast jeder mensch mindestens ein mal in der tasche vertreten hat. egal ob apple oder android, fast alle gängigen formate sind abgedeckt.

momentan habe ich einen umzug, eine hochzeit und 1564563 ideen in meinem kopf zu verwalten. so wurden die 3 iphone großen heftchen kurzerhand zu meinen projektbüchern, die super in mein handtaschen-mäppchen passen. so habe ich jetzt alle informationen mitsamt stiften immer dabei. was mir sehr gut gefällt ist, dass die hefte per se nicht so umfangreich sind. d.h. ich kann ein heft pro projekt anlegen und hab danach nicht elend viel leeren platz übrig, denn sie füllen sich ratz-fatz. extra informationen, einkaufszettel, flexible to-do listen kommen auf ein scrap papier und werden mit einem washi-tape fähnchen markiert. einfach super! ah und mit washi tape kann man die paperscreens ohnehin super aufhübschen, wobei das matte schwarz schon stylisch genug ist. nur da ich ja 3 gleiche teile im mäppchen habe, musste ich mir das projekt “neues zuhause” mal eben kenntlicher machen. das wird sehr oft gebraucht momentan.

was ich auch sehr gerne mag – allerdings bei den kleinen büchern vermisse – ist das aufgedruckte lineal beim SCOLA heft. ich persönlich kann ohne lineal oder maßband kaum überleben und bin nie ohne dieses werkzeug unterwegs. ständig muss ich was abmessen und auch bei den kleinen FIVE heften wäre das ein tolles add-on.

another brand that i didn’t know but instantly fell in love with last weekend at ambiente is CHI CHI FAN hamburg. i am a big fan of all kinds of chi chi and this brand makes beautiful bags made of the softest leather in all colors imaginable. from small leather goods to bigger shopping bags – it’s a pleasure to look at everything and get carried away by the thought to have a matching bag for every single outfit. i could have bought this whole set i’m showing here but unfortunately they didn’t let me. this rule not being able to shop on fairs is not the most clever one…

matching the current trend they offer pastel colors and the style of the bags is clear and straight and i love that CHI CHI might relate more to the color palette than to playful design.

next time i’ll be in hamburg their concept store will be number one on my list to visit so i can once more look at these beauties and find the perfect set for me.

at the ambiente i realized denmark rules the interior decoration world. or let’s say the scandinavian countries. their style is very distinct and i just love the clear forms paired with the nice colors.

the booth of LIEBE shop from denmark was very simple and not overloaded with a gazillion things to discover. they showed their beautiful pieces that were just enough! an eyecatcher were the little colorful porcelain birds attached to the white wall. also the lamp with the bubbles was wonderful! browsing through their online shop i’ve found more pieces that i definitely want to remind for our upcoming nesting. i really like the idea of using porcelain for a pendant light. it’s one of my favorite materials and using it for more than dishes is just brilliant. the more i look at those beauties the more i fall in love with LIEBE.

this weekend i went to the fabulous ambiente fair and fell in love with a brand that i wasn’t aware of being to super. i knew pt, (present time) from my trips to hamburg but forgot about it because here in frankfurt we just don’t have shops that sell such great stuff and so i’m happy that i have seen the beautiful booth and those beautiful new products.

the new line is called “kitchen pastels” and “living pastels” and is just cool. geometric shapes paired with my favorite colors – dream combo! my favorite items where the plates, the lamps and especially the little wooden tables. can’t wait to get some pieces of this collection!

this weekend i discovered a new online printing and paper shop. i was asked to review the shop and to play along with the pre-made designs and instantly fell in love with the whole website. the designs are just striking beautiful and it’s so easy to modify and customize the products.

i loved these 4 designs from the holiday card selection and as soon as i had found a nice picture of my martin and me I put them into the templates, changed the copy a bit and whooozaaa; DONE!

then i discovered the business cards, and the stationery and the address labels… oh my god. i love them all! i could sit there for hours and browse all the designs and customize. there are so many possibilities and it really doesn’t cost a fortune and they also ship internationally! yay! and it’s not only the wonderful designs they feature i admire so much but also the fact that they provide an opportunity for raising indie designers (mostly female!!) to build their careers on merit alone and gives them the chance to be discovered by so many people. that’s one of the bests things ever! kudos for that!

so i’ll be browsing more and hope i can finally decide on our christmas cards. as soon as i receive my first package i’ll let you know what i think.
